She grew up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, the second of six siblings. Casey went on to attend college at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. She graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theater Arts, Performance. She was cast in her first national tour in June of 2010, playing the part of Sam the Mail Carrier in Sesame Street Live's 1,2,3 Imagine with Elmo and Friends. She went on to play this part in approximately 400 performances of the show from June 2010 until August 2011.
